Exciting Weekend Plans
Let's cross our fingers that Saturday is nice out because we want to take the kids on a hayride and pumpkin picking at a nearby farm. The best part about the whole trip is of course, THE COWS! The cows come right over to the hayride and you can pet them and feed them hay. Every morning we drive by the pastures and if the cows are out Andrew yells "Moo". He is going to be so excited to get up close to them. We did Owen's birthday party there one year and I think it goes down as one of the best parties ever. It was so nice and the weather was perfect. Well, I want to get lots of pictures because on Sunday I am going to a "Croptober Fest" (an all day scrapbooking thingy.) I am not so sure if I am going to like this because I tend to do all my scrapping digitally on the computer but I figure I'll give it a shot. Of course, I have to go out and buy the necessary tools and goodies beforehand. Hopefully, we can get a sitter for Saturday night and maybe have a "date" and go out shopping for Owen's birthday gifts too. I hate the fact that his birthday is so close to the holidays and then next month I have Andrew's birthday too. Pretty poor planning on my part. UUUGGGH.
Well, I probably won't be around next week much as the craft show I am co-chairing is on Saturday and the week will be complete chaos. I am taking Thursday and Friday off from work but really would like the whole week off. Wednesday will be apple peeling to be followed with baking 8 apple pies on Thursday and then set-up Friday after school hours and then bright and early at 6 am on Saturday. So if anyone is in my area on the 21st make sure to stop by the craft show. (I may even buy you a s'more covered candy apple.)
