Tired.ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I have created a monster!! With Tyler we had a horrible time getting him to sleep as a baby/toddler. We would have to lay down in his room with him to get him to finally fall asleep. Of course, whoever was laying with him would usually fall asleep too and that would be it for the evening. So with Owen we let him fall asleep on the couch with us and then we would move him to his bed and he would be fine for the rest of the night. Well, our problem with Andrew is that he falls asleep on the couch and when we move him to his bed he wakes up 10 minutes later and is in our bed. And believe me he is not a fun one to sleep with. He tosses and turns, lays upside down with his feet in your back or if you're lucky, in your face. So, needless to say since I have had to be into work at 6:00 am three days a week this is killing me. I NEED SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!
Any suggestions what to do would be greatly appreciated and you would contributing to my ability to SLEEP. He has his own room which is next to ours so it isn't like he is so far away or anything.
I just need sleep. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I know someone who literally put a lock on the outside of their kid's door to keep them in. They actually cut the door in half so the top could be opened, but would not let the child out. Now that seemed a little extreme to me.
What we did with Kev, who had the same problem, was every time he came into our room, we would pick him up, put him back in his own bed and tell him to stay there.
Admittedly, we repeated it almost non-stop the first few nights, but each night got a little better. All said, it took about 2 weeks to make really good progress.
Bribe him! I don't know if that would work for Andrew but if he stays in his own bed for x nights, you will get him y... Or have him sleep with one of the other boys rather than you.
*LOL* Pretty funny, ME giving advice about this. Christa sleeps with me!
Um... how about when he comes to get in your bed, you go get in his? LOL!
Sorry, no advice here either. I usually just let Kyle sleep with me for a few mins then take him back, but he's not there everynight.
Good Luck!
