The Mystery Plant or Flower! (or whatever it is)

Here it is...the mystery plant. I have pictures of the stalk before the flowers popped but they are at home. So, you just get pictures of the finished product. If anyone has a clue what the name of this plant is please, please, please let me know. Jeff dug it out from infront of his brother's building two years ago and last year we only had the greens grow but this year stalks sprouted and now we have these pretty blooms. It stand almost 6 feet tall!!! You just can't tell from the picture. It honestly looks like some sort of tropical foliage on the bottom. I am going to have to try to get a clearer picture.
