Potty Training 101

Well, we have made major improvements in potty training. You may remember the potty training attempt a few weeks ago. Saturday we decided was going to be potty training boot camp day. It started in the morning when I decided to let Andrew walk around without a pull-up or undies on-yupp commando style. I brought the potty seat into the family room and go figure, Andrew peed on the potty!!! We didn't have a single accident all day and he even pooped in the potty too! I know a bit graphic, but I am one proud mommy. I told him the mailman was going to bring him a surprise for being such a big boy. (I had ordered him a new Blue Clue's 10th anniversary notebook). He was very disappointed to find out that the mailman doesn't come on Sundays. Sunday he did okay when we went out excpet for one accident. He hasn't learned the concept of "let's try to go pee before we got out." When he says he has to pee..he means RIGHT NOW.
So, that is my adventure in potty training this weekend. It is a huge step up from last weekend when he sat on the potty for an hour crying.
