Busy Mom To My Three Men

I am a mom to three fantastic yet exhausting boys. Not a moment goes by that they say or do something that I say to myself I must remember to write that down. So, here I'll share their funny stories and my crazy life. I think I strive on chaos (thus explains my house most of the time.)

Geez, I don't post and I get called on it.

Now, I need to say this first right off the bat so there is no misunderstanding....I LOVE MY CHILDREN. Now with that being said, I have hated being home with them this week. We didn't have our babysitter this week (her boyfriend is back from Iraq for 2 weeks) so I haven't been able to work. Instead I have been home with the three monster children. Sure, that isn't nice to say but none of you have been around my kids all week. I haven't even had time to IM anyone. I have been trying to clean-couldn't tell from the condition of the house. I have been working on potty training Andrew. To see how well that is going see the picture below.

He fights me and doesn't want to put a pull-up on. I get one leg in and go to put the other leg in and he pulls out the first leg. I am certainly losing this battle. He starts daycare back up MONDAY (can you hear me shouting "hurray.) His newest thing is to come over to my desk and grab something off of it and when I tell him "no" he takes off runnning like a bat out of hell. I am very tired of this game.
Poor Jeff has taken his fair share of abuse this week from me. I guess I have been nasty with him because he has not had to deal with "I'm doing it my own self." or "He hit me." or the fighting, screaming and instegating that has gone on here. Calgon take me away. Today he brought me home some sunflowers that he cut at work cause he knew I had "one of those days."
The boys are supposed to start before and afterschool care on Monday and I am supposed to start working full-time again but they called me and said they they aren't going to have time to process their applications over the next two days (GIVE ME A BREAK) and they can start the Tuesday after Labor Day. This now messes up me working full-time starting next week.
So, we are headed to PA next Friday for Labor day weekend so Sharon or Kim, if you want to get together for dinner let me know and we can make arrangements on our way up. My brother and his family are coming from DC and mom and dad will be there too. It'll probably be the last time we get to swim in the lake before it starts to get cold.
Oh, by the way, my sister found out she is having a BOY! So, it loks like no grand daughters for my parents. Of course, this is a whole other blog but let me just say my bil gave me a hard time because I wanted to throw the baby shower for my sister and he is insisting it should be a his and her baby shower. I told him that I am throwing this for my sister and it WILL NOT BE A HIS AND HER SHOWER. So he cried to his mom and she is throwing them a joint shower. This guy is a jerk and needs to be the center of attention all the time. I really don't think having a kid is magically going to make him grow up. Okay, enough said about that.

Huge Hugs! and while I don't advocate locking children in closets, could you lock yourself in one? :)

Hmm... is your BIL related to Traci's SIL?

Sorry to hear you are having one of those weeks. I know exactly what they feel like only with girls. Hopefully it gets better soon!
