Busy Mom To My Three Men

I am a mom to three fantastic yet exhausting boys. Not a moment goes by that they say or do something that I say to myself I must remember to write that down. So, here I'll share their funny stories and my crazy life. I think I strive on chaos (thus explains my house most of the time.)

And So It Begins...

It is that time of year again. Baseball season....GO YANKEES. Yes, I love professional baseball but I was actually talking about the minors....The very minor minors....T-Ball!!! Go ROCHESTER RED WINGS!!! Yupp, I thought the exact same thing. What the heck is up with that name? Couldn't we have a cool name like oh maybe..the Yankees? Nope, we have to settle for these minor league teams because it costs the league less to purchase uniforms than if they were to buy the Big League names. But I can't knock the Red Wings too much I found a little bit of fascinating trivia about them...

The Rochester Red Wings, along with the Pawtucket Red Sox, hold the record for the longest professional baseball game, lasting a total of 33 innings and 8 hours, 25 minutes over the course of three different days. Wow, go figure how many hotdogs and bathroom runs one would have to make during that game.
Jeff is coaching Owen's team this year once again and lucky me gets to be team Mom. That is just a fancy name for nose wiper, bathroom run taker and snack duty officer. Let's just hope that I don't have to walk out onto the field again this year and drag Owen off screaming. Last year he decided to throw a tantrum because he didn't want to play outfield and was being completely disrespectful so I walked out on the field, gave him a warning and when he kept it up I put him over my shoulder and made him sit on the chair next to me and since he didn't play the field that inning he didn't get to bat that inning either. Hopefully, he learned his lesson and we won't have a repeat performance.
Ty has decided that he doesn't want to play ball this year so it should make things a bit easier on us. Last year I had to be at one game with Drew while Jeff was at the other game coaching. Won't miss that one bit. My only problem is last year I would bring the porta-crib and set it up and Andrew would play in it-no way is that happening this year. How am I going to keep him from running out into the field and joining the game? Maybe, he'll surprise me and sit nicely on the blanket and play with his toys..One can only wish, right? Wish me luck....LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
