It's that time again...Random Wednesday.

1.) Why is it that when Jeff and I ask to take a day off of work (use one of his vacation days) we get the third degree on why we need it off yet if it is anybody else there are no questions asked? We have decided to take Friday off to get some stuff done for Ty's first communion on Saturday. My mom and my sister keep giving me the third degree on why we are taking it off. I just answer that we have stuff to do and they think there is some deep dark secret. My sister even went as fas at to say, "Oh no, please no more nephews." Yupp, that's it-Jeff and I have a hot steamy day of sex planned...NOT.
2.) I am 4 days into Nutri-System and I am already hating my scale for not budging a bit. Only to find out that today AF has decided to pay me a visit. So that must be why I haven't lost anything yet, right? Please say its so because otherwise I a going to throw this nasty food through the window. No honestly, it isn't terrible but it isn't delicious either. I think they try to hide the fact that it is missing all the unhealthy yummy stuff by throwing sauce on it -like that cheesey tomato spaghetti sauce. I can only take so much of that stuff. So, I'll reluctantly keep this up because I have a months worth of food but if I don't see any change within a week I may not reorder for next month.
3.) I am sure my mom is hating me because I woke her up at 5:30 this morning because I needed a picture of me as a kid for Owen for school and I have no pictures of me younger than college. Maybe now she'll think about handing over some of those photo albums she has of us.
4.) Mother's Day!!!! I am really hoping that this year my darling husband realizes that I am a mother and therefore should be allowed to celebrate this day. In the past he has decided to have the family together and do a brunch of sorts. Yes, this is nice and all but who has to clean for this? Me. Who has to prepare the food for this? Me. Who has to clean up after this? Me. Yupp, happy mother's day to me. NOT.
I would rather go out to brunch with my husband and kids somewhere. Maybe I'll have to hint about that as well as this little guy for my charm bracelet.
5.) I have decided that I am taking July and August off from work and pulling Andrew from daycare. Between paying for daycare and having to put the kids into camp it is really not worth it. Maybe I can try to come in for a few hours early in the morning so I get paid something but otherwise it just doesn't make "cents"(he he eh)
6.) Rain-you all are not dancing enough. Or maybe you mistakingly thought I said to do a "Rain Dance." I said a "No Rain Dance." So for all of you that thought I said "rain dance" you now must dance backwards around your desk to undo what you all did. For all of you that followed directions properly-thank you but you just didn't dance hard enough or well enough I suppose.
7.) American Idol VENT!!!! OKay, I have had it with Elliot. What the heck do the judges see in him? THis is just my opinion so don't shoot me but when he butchered two of my favorite songs (Brian Adams, Heaven and Grath Brooks, Unanswered Prayers) I decided that I didn't like this guy. Why is he still around? I think it is because he is so humble that the judges are afraid to say anything bad to him. I really think the results are all fixed anyway and that the powers to be pick who they want to be the winner anyway. Yupp, we have seen how well this has worked for them. Let me see, Kelly Clarkson (okay, love her), Ruben Studdard (who?? I think Clay aiken made out better than Ruben did), Fantasia (another who? I think she is getting into acting now), and Carrie Underwood (okay, love her too.) So, it looks like this could be a hit or miss year with a pop star or a dudd. Personally I voted last night for Kat and Chris. I just hope they find a good way to market Chris's style if he wins without changing him too much.
8.) Britney Spears!!!! Enough said. It just irks me that this girl is pregnant again. As it is her son is 8 months old and she has already managed to get in trouble for driving with him on her lap and he's been in the hospital for being dropped from a highchair. Maybe Brit' should take some Mommy classes before this next one comes for all our sakes.
